Joyful Quotations - Wherever I go on the web, I see quotes and snippets of literary humour, and poetry that inspires and uplifts. This site will collect and display ONLY joyful, jocund, happy and uplifting quotations and poems. I intend to add MY favourite quotes and poems to these pages. It will be a personal collection, and will reflect much of what I find joyful, funny and inspiring.
Joyful Quotations - The Jocund site is marked up in XHTML Strict and uses CSS for the formatting. It is meant to look calm and peaceful. The colour scheme is green & light grey, fits together well and is easy on the eyes.
The top navigation is 'tabbed', showing the visitor where they are and where they can go. The right and left-hand sides are columns, but if their content exceeds the main content in the middle, then a new effect is created, with the middle becoming an island on the grey.
Jocund is compatible with multiple viewing resolutions, and endeavours to be accessible to all.
22nd December 2005: Have been working on Jocund.Com Joyful Quotations - I've found this quotations site to be VERY easy to work on. I have been enjoying the quotations and the site definitely has an upbeat feel to it.
